Soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs. Leveille!
I was working at Cowboy Joe coffee shop one Spring afternoon and a man came in and ordered a coffee, I didn’t think anything of it. Well for the rest of the week he kept coming in every day and ordering a coffee when I was working and would hang around for a while and by the end of the week we would have some lengthy conversation. Come to find out he was on jury duty all week. I had met him before through a long-time friend but didn’t really know him, so I got to know him throughout the week. The coffee shop was slow, so I sat down with him at his table and we just talked away. Finally, on Friday he came to order his coffee and then went over to the Stray Dog Bar afterwards which is right next door. About 15 minutes later he comes back with my favorite dip from the bar. I was kind of embarrassed but accepted it happily. He said my friend Chris told him to bring it over to me which was a cook at the Stray Dog Bar. So, before he headed back over to the Stray Dog he asked if he could take me to dinner that weekend and of course I said yes. I wrote my number on a Cowboy Joe punch card (which he still has) and made it a date. The next day on Saturday April 1st, 2016 was our first date at La Fiesta and we have been together ever since.
On December 23rd, 2017 Cole got down on one knee in my parents’ kitchen and asked me to marry him when he came to pick me up for dinner. I just looked at him and starting crying and said YES!!! I couldn’t believe this was happening. He thought something had to be wrong because I was crying so I explained they were tears of joy. My parents didn’t see it coming either and were just as surprised as I was.
Cole asked my dad for my hand, went and picked out an engagement ring and proposed to me all in one day. He did not tell anyone he was going to propose that day. When he wants to do something, he’s going to do it with no messin’ around. I got to show off Cole and my ring for Christmas which was an awesome present in itself.
He is such an amazing man who knows how to treat a woman. He is old fashion in that he still opens every door for me, pulls my chair out for me, and puts me before everything. He spoils me more than I have ever been spoiled. He texts me good morning every morning and goodnight every night. He lets me know how much he loves me day in and day out. I don’t know how I got so lucky to be with such a lovely man, but I did, and I can’t wait to marry this man and spend the rest of our lives happily together forever. I love you Cole Graham Leveille!
