Rain, shine, or smoke... these two were getting married!
I truly adore these two and their families. When I first met Kenny and Michelle, we all just clicked. From the way they talked about each other to the way they talked to each other... this is a love that will last a lifetime. Kenny is a rare man, and I knew that when I met him. The respect he has (like my own husband) is incredible. Simple things like taking off your hat when meeting a woman. <3
There were so many emotional moments throughout this wedding day (which is why a lot I personally love are in black and white) and what a perfect day it was.
The storm started to trickle in as Kenny and Michelle met at the Lamoille Church to say a prayer. Then it started to downpour as we headed to the ceremony at 6 Bar Ranch. It didn't look like it was going to let up anytime soon, so they decided to go ahead as scheduled and start the ceremony. Thank goodness my amazing 2nd photographer, CarolLee had this clear umbrella for portrait session in her car and it was perfect for Michelle during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we were able to hide in a small barn and start on family portraits, which was definitely very important to these two.
Just as we finished up, it stopped raining and we were able to go outside the barn, witness the branding ceremony, and start the reception.
I think one of my favorite parts of the this wedding was the speeches from both Kenny and Michelle's parents. The way they love these two and the respect Kenny has not only for Michelle, but for everyone, is something so rare nowadays.
Michelle & Kenny, congratulations on your marriage and your awesome trophy hunts during your honeymoon. It has been an honor and pleasure getting to work with you two. I am so excited for your journey together.
