Soon-to-be Mr. & Mrs. Parker
Downtown Elko was the perfect location for this gorgeous engagement session. From the beautiful wine bar at DLC to the newly painted Henderson Bank Building (which also happens to by the new home of my office), it was so stunning. Gloria had three gorgeous gowns that fit perfectly with the feel we were going for and Evergreen Flower Shop & Events Co. provided us with some stunning floral for the shoot!
Gloria & Jeff, I can't wait for your epic wedding! Thank you so much for choosing me to be your wedding photographer!
Our Love Story
The first time Jeff saw me was from across the street while at a parade when he asked his friend, “who is that girl?” His friend told him not to worry about it because he would never have a chance with me. Shortly after, we ended up meeting through a mutual friend while playing pool at an arcade in Ely. From there, we became friends and started talking more. So much more that we would stay up until 6 in the morning talking on the phone. We have always had a close and personal relationship; in fact, a lot of friends and family didn’t even know that we were dating. This allowed us to get to know each other and brought us close together.
Moving to Elko was the best decision that we made, as we have both established careers and bought a house together. Believe it or not, we have been together for 11 years and engaged for 5 years!! On Christmas day in 2014, in front of my sister and his brother, Jeff got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He was so nervous that he ended up putting the ring on the wrong finger. The ring that he chose is beautiful and this will be a memorable day that I will never forget.
After our long engagement, we are finally getting married and we cannot wait to see what our future holds. We look forward to spending our days together as Mr. and Mrs. Parker.
