Another amazing year has come and gone. We've gotten to meet so many new wonderful friends, create gorgeous art for so many more clients, and do exactly what we love. From hiking rocks at Lake Tahoe to being surrounded by cacti at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ, we've thoroughly enjoyed traveling to capture our clients' visions. We cannot thank our amazing clients enough for this wonderful year. If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be where we are today. This year has been yet another tough one on a personal level, and if each of you weren't here putting your trust in me and my work, I don't know how I would have survived. So again, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Every wedding this year was so unique and it was amazing working with each couple. We spend 9-12 months planning with our couples from the first meeting and even after the wedding day creating heirloom albums and stunning wall art pieces for their homes. From the gorgeous Larsen wedding at the Model Farm Event Center in Reno to the breathtaking Gallagher wedding that had over 500 guests, we were up to the challenge of creating beautiful art and offering an amazing experience for our clients.
This year we've had the pleasure of working with many new wedding vendors in the Elko area and beyond. Party Time did a beautiful job decorating the entire Gallagher roping arena and transforming it into a beautiful reception venue. John Lemich also did a wonderful job cooking delicious food from Machis and easily served over 500 guests. One of our go-to DJs, Get Down Entertainment, always does a great job at keeping the party going. Although we absolutely love outdoor ranch weddings, we had the pleasure of working with Stockmens and the Basque House on many occasions. We are looking forward to our 2018 weddings at the 7th Canyon Ranch and at the Ruby 360 Lodge.
We are so excited for what 2018 has in store for our business and in turn our wonderful clients! Be sure to check out our 2nd annual A Formal Affair Bridal and Prom Expo on February 3, 2018 at Stockmens. This incredible event is a collaboration between Kate Brown Photography, Candlelight Bridal and Prom, and Evergreen Flower Shop here in Elko.
I also had the pleasure of traveling down to the Nelson Ghost Town just outside of Las Vegas to take our niece's annual birthday pictures! They turned out phenomenal! Check out a few favorites below!
