Our love story...
Tracy and I started talking about two years ago when I told her happy birthday for the first time. She had invited me over to her house for a few drinks. During this time I was drinking Keystone Light and thought it was cool that they had orange beer cans. I left that night forgetting that I took my gun to her house. I found out the orange can was a collectible item and that her dad collects them as well. She told me that I had to say sorry to him. I ended up going to Elko later that day and picked up coffee for my co-worker, her, and I. After arriving at her house to get my gun, I said sorry to her dad, but I also told her that Starbucks gave me an extra drink on accident. I thought my plan worked out until I realized that the sticker they put on the drink says how many drinks you ordered. So, while I thought it was a "cute" plan she knew all along that I ordered that drink. I also failed to realize my name was on there.
As the time went on, I began finding myself talking to her everyday. Furthermore, while I worked graveyard and she was home from school, she would cook me a second dinner pretty consistently. She moved back home for the summer and began working at Barrick during the summer. I would go see her in the mornings before she went to work and right before I went home. Her family invited me on their family vacation. I wasn't sure what to do because I wasn't sure if we were in a relationship or even if she wanted to be. What I did know was that I enjoyed talking to her and going over to her house and hanging out with her family. Of course all of this could have been avoided if I just asked her to be my girlfriend. I decided to go on the trip and loved every second of it. It was pretty clear that we thought highly of each other.
She eventually had to go back to Montana for school. She really wanted me to visit for Labor Day weekend, however, I told her I wasn't going to be able to go. I did manage to plan out some vacation time and traveled up there, without her knowing. It took some time to plan, however, she was caught completely off guard when I showed up in Montana. I ordered her flowers and delivered them to her while she was getting a pedicure. She also thought that I was only going to be there for a couple days before I surprised her again and told her that I was staying for a whole week. A trip of a life time.
Over the course of time she finished college and moved back to Carlin. After she moved back, the future looked bright for us and we got a house together. We closed on the house in December of 2015. We have currently lived in the house for almost a full year now. After moving in with her, she has always asked when I was going to propose to her. I stood firm that once the weather got better I would start thinking about. As time went on and the weather got warmer, I was put on the hot seat as she remembered what I said. I just continued to play it off and tell her that it would happen one day and that she would never expect it to happen. Planning this proposal has been a long process. While working the graveyard shift, I would find myself driving around and coming up with these cute ideas. I would enter them into my phone and just continue on with my night. The one thing that has always stuck was having a photographer catch it on camera. I wanted to get the raw emotion of the event. I wanted to capture the exact moment where she realized what I was doing and the exact moment where her world stopped for just a half second.
That is where you came into play. Eventually we started e-mailing back and forth different ideas. Through it all, I finally came up with one and have not changed it much. I'm glad that you could be apart for this adventure with me.
Tyler
-Tyler and Tracy, I hope this was well worth the wait. I enjoyed planning every aspect along with capturing such raw emotions. I am glad you will have these images to look back on and tangible items to pass down to future generations. I am so excited for what your future holds and to be a part of such an amazing journey!

John and Karen Loff - CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement! We were absolutely thrilled to receive the news; as I'm sure you could tell during our conversation.
Knowing that Tyler is kind, loyal, fair, hard working and a really sweet guy, it didn't surprise me that Tracy fell for him!! Tyler doesn't enter into anything he isn't certain about and I am confident Tracy captured his heart from the beginning.
I have great respect for Tyler being a Police Officer and Tracy being a Teacher. Both professions require great dedication and hard work. I feel sure their commitment to one another in marriage will be met with continued love and support.
I'm super excited to meet Tracy and love her already!! We wish you the very best and look forward to the wedding. By the way, your photographer is amazing! It looks like you all had so much fun together. She definitely captured the joy and love you have for one another.
